which site was that, because where I am currently playing there are more than one rare fish at the $50NL tables. you know how sometimes fish will call with a flush draw without proper odds, there are people who are constantly calling flop bets with overcard(s) (yes, sometimes only 1 of them) for nowhere near the right price. it happens so often now that my default play is to continue to c-bet on the turn once my flop bet is called, especially if i think i have better overcards than they do. i sometimes think that my play is taking a step backwards by playing with these people as I can make dumbass moves, like check raising AI from the BB with a 6 on a 662 board, and still get called by AK. so I am not improving because my 'bad' play is being paid off. also, i no longer find myself able to give 7 out of 9 people at my table credit for a hand when they make a bet. this is good, i know, but in the long run i think that i will suffer the consequences of playing with these players, if i ever decide to move up that is.

This was at Party, which has a reputation of rocky $50 players. I might need to switch it up, or go more B&M.

It's an acutal casino instead of online play. The games are in general much looser there. And once again your pic has made my day at work much better.

fish are not rare at Party 50nl.

They are soft tables. You can take advantage of tightness by being loose agressive.

Or if you like $$ you can play at a good poker room.

50nl at party is the lowest variance game ive ever played
I once folded KK to AA correctly after putting only 6bb in the pot...
If you have any hand reading ability this is the game for you, the players are tight preflop but very bad postflop.

PokerRoom full ring is good at 50 & 100nl. A nice mix of tight predictable players and the usual loose passives.

    25/50's f'in hard!
They may be tight and not make obvious mistakes, but the majority of 50 nl players are still fish in my book. They dont understand the more advanced concepts of the game and they dont know how to bluff or pick off bluffs well. They are easily manipulated.
    BR now: $106900
Playing now: $10/10/20 - $20/40 NL live, $10/20 NL full ring online, $10/20 NL 6-max online, $20/40 FL 6-max online, $100/200 FL live
Goal: $125000 for $25/50 NL live

This exactly captures experience. Bet your draws, check raise the rocks, and limp everything you can from late position to hit your sets and concealed str8s. If you can exercise discipline and lay a couple hands down, you can kill $50NL--but of course discipline applies everywhere.

    What is "Pot-Fucked"?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

Some say it's a sexual position originating from Eastern Asia, circa the Ming Dynasty. A statue from an archeological site was recently found depicting this ancient maneuver:

Putting in about 50%+ of your stack in the pot with a hand that might win.
