Default I find myself playing unsuited connectors... leak?

Limping unsuited connectors in LP as well as even calling a raise in LP (making plays against tight players on unscary flops) with the image of a solid TAG. I've found myself to be fairly successful (given the image) and opps are willing to fold their hand often to me. (This was primarily an experiment over about 7-8K hands, 2-tabling at NL100).

It's probably not considered EV+, but given decent post-flop play and image, could it be EV+?

limping them is definatly +EV if there are a few people allready in the pot.

Calling raises with the intention of stealing when they miss will work against some players and not against others. As long as your reads are good and you are very selective I dont see why this wouldnt work.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Well you just said given your image... thats great but the avg player on these poker sites dont watch players and have reads on players img's... you are in the 100NL but still ive experienced that many players dont really watch people lik ethey should because I hold a very tight table image and i still get many callers with mid pair when im holding ace high repping TPTK even two pair at times... And i used to get frustrated and I just realized a majority of them are fish and yes hold a table image but you shouldnt rely on it that much for your plays

Limping them with many people in the hand is +EV calling raises with those hands I find -EV because you base it on the fact that your TAG image will prevail...

    hope my rambling helped
    I am that fish...

I think there's a simple solution: If it works, keep it up.
Just get another few thousand hands in and see if your success is consistent.

I limp and call raises in position with any two random cards in some of the games I play. That decision is based on table dynamic and the players that are in the hand. As I see it, there is fish equity in this play. Tight fish will fold, loose fish will ship it with TP vs two pair. I really don't do this kind of stuff online, but in most of the games I play, it is a situational +EV kind of thing.

    If it works, it works.

However, I think the player range this works on is slim. They have to be tight, obviously, but a lot of these nits only enter the pot with big pairs and can't be pushed off of them.

Your success rate against tight players might be higher when an ace flops, something to think about...
