a lot of newer players tend to have betting tendancies that can give them away, such as, "when I get a good hand I'll bet $2" or, one of my friends does minimum bet after the flop every time he gets a monster hand, and the list changes from person to person- table to table. If you find yourself saying "I'm going to do this every time this happens" without worrying about any other factors, it can kill your game and make it really obvious when you have a monster hand/buying the pot/etc. Work on varying your game up depending on position, and how the other players at the table play.
Also, dont show people your hand when you get them to fold or when they take you to the river on a bluff etc, that will make you an even easier read, and that is the problem in the first place.
