this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. you think it is correct to call the shove with only 16bb's invested even after admitting that you think you are behind? if you think you have 2-5 outs when someone shoves that flop then you obviously shouldn't be calling.
It's like when a player flops two pair and then somebody raises all in. A lot of the time the all in (when not shortstacked) already has a set or better but most people can't lay down the two pair in that situation even though they have a gut feeling they may be behind.
Same reasoning behind the top pair with ace high kicker on the flop.
all i'm saying is that if you feel top pair is no good then don't stack off with it.
