    Default How to play 3-of-a-kind?

I need advice on how to play 3-of-a-kind?

Typical low limit £10 table - lots of limpers - except for one player who was raising regularly post flop.

First off, I never USUALLY slow play them. Second, i'm not making enough with them when I hit the flop - so they're not paying for the times I have to call a raise and miss the flop.

The CR was in expectation that crispy would put in the usual raise - he didnt!! Should I have called the flop bet instead of raising?

No matter - i am not sure how to play these anyways.

lead out the flop. You want to play your sets fast. In this case, villain just missed the flop. If you have a villain there w/ AK, then you are more than likely to get his stack at this level.

Also, if you are going to check/raise, then make a proper raise.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

You need to build the pot with a set. If you know that one of them is aggressive that's fine to check on this flop since it's not that scary and you can count on him to bet. Just make sure that you raise a little stronger. Normally, I lead out because most players at this level will call or stack off with TP, so it's not that hard to build the pot.

    Keep betting.

I don't like check/raising the flop at this limit, because he can't play without a king. I lead every street, trying to get all the money in.

If I checked the flop, I would call, and then check/raise the turn...of course, that's about the standard set line, and good players can see that one coming. But then again, crispy is not good.
