Default How often do you check-raise?

so lately i've been wondering about check-raises. one thing i noticed about my play (which i discovered through lukie's recent thread about exploitable habits - thanks lukie ) is that i never ever check-raise with a good hand. i guess i'm too terrified of giving free cards or something. i check-raise bluff in certain situations but never with the goods. my question to everyone is how often do you check-raise your good hands?

I never do, mostly because I feel it gives away my hand. I know never cheakraising with legitimate hands is a leak in my game (maybe only a small one). But meh, when to checkraise with good hands?

Btw I play NL 100 6-max if it matters

Check-raise a guy who makes C-bets. You will be fairly confident that he will bet w/o a hand and you can get your raise in. C/ring will get you free cards when you miss your hand and you will find that you are not always folding on the flop.

Oftentimes the C/R is much better when you are HU as you are only giving a free card to one hand as opposed to 2 or 3. Plus, you are more likely to induce a bluff from a guy when you are HU.
Sometimes the nuts just get crushed

I checkraise with draws and made hands on the flop in limped pots.

    Thats about all.

I only check-raise with made hands, such as sets w/ no flush or other possible hands that beat me on the board, or straights, flushes, etc...

If everytime you cr is with a made hand then it becomes incredibly readable. People really should check this thread out at 2+2, it explains a lot about when a checkraise should be used as opposed to a 3bet:

I think I've probably C/R 1% of the hands I've played. I find trying to C/R leads to too many free cards. And sometimes I have to make difficult decisions like what to do if it checks around to someone who puts in a min bet.
