How to act with a good read?

I was wondering if you have a really good read on someone and you know they're bluffing, what should you do? For example, I was playing a ring game with my friends, and they are not very good. I got 77 in MP and SB raises to to 3xbb so I call. Flop is AA3 rainbow. He bets 10xbb, and I call because I have a good read on him that he doesnt have the overpair and doesn't have the ace or 33. Turn is an 8. He bets 10xbb and I call again knowing my sevens are still good. River is another 8 and he checks to me. I bet 20xbb and he calls and shows KQ and I lose.
Now obviously in a tournament you would want to overbet the pot to take it down early to prevent a suckout, but since this is a ring game, wouldn't it be better to try and milk the guy for a lot of chips since catching a bad beat is not the end of the world (you can still buy back in)? Now looking back I probably should have reraised on the flop or turn, but perhaps by smooth calling I can represent the ace. So I guess my question is when you have a good read on a person is it best to milk them or overbet the pot and be done with it?

If I were playing in a No-Limit game, I would most definetly check-n-raise. Depending on what stakes your in, trapping your opponent and making him believe he has the best hand, will make you some extra cash. It just all depends on whether you have the best possible %/win rate for the hand, or like you said, good instincts and knowing what they could possibly have.

I play multiple ring game tables at PartyPoker in the $30/$60 PL tables, and knowing when to check-n-raise will increase your bankroll substantially.

If that happened to me and I KNEW my oppoonent was bluffing, I would have reraised AI on the flop probably. Otherwise I would be giving him a chance to catch good cards and suck out on me.

also, you hand wasnt unbeatable. So if you knew he was bluffing, you would still think he had high cards like KQ or KJ. If he catches one of them on the turn or river, your screwed pretty much. So you should have reraised.

But if you had a monster hand that had very LITTLE chance of getting outdrawn, then yea I would have slowplayed it to milk money out of him.

Don't call the turn. Raise him off of it. He's not going to bet the river unless he has you beat. If you know you're winning, knock him off on the turn. He have more than enough of his money in the pot to make it a successful take-down.
