Help in setting a goal (and a bonus whoring q)

Right, first a bit of an introduction:

I have been playing poker for around 5 months now and until quite recently I was 100% a losing player. I then found FTR, invested in poker office and was still a losing player I have made more deposits than I care to remember but recently (the past month or two) I have been getting better and increasing my bankroll. I play all sorts of games - sngs, MTTs, 6max limit and a little 6max NL.

My bankroll is currently around $340 (and $180 T$)

What I need to do is decide whether or not to keep playing all these different types of games or just focus on one. Basically I need help in setting a goal, target or strategy.

I would just look at my Poker Office stats ato see whats most profitable (or whats eating away at my bankroll) but alot of the stats are from my earlier "fishy" play.

Question 1 - What would you be looking at in this situation to decide how to go forward (given that my PO stats are useless)

Question 2 - Having read Elipsesjeff's Limit Texas Holdem Poker Guide I now realise the importance of "Bonus Whoring" for players with my level of bankroll, but I think I've done it all the wrong way round! I started at Party then moved to Stars but it seems that you're better off waiting until you have a bigger BR until depositing at Party. Could someone help me devise a bonus whoring plan (I'm not US so no probs there)?

Thanks! I guess that all makes sense, I do enjoy playing all the different types of holdem available but really do want to knuckle down and focus on increasing my BR.

Is it possible to reset just MY stats on PO wthout deleting all the info I've gained on other players? PO also differentiates between Ring games and Tourneys/sngs when showing stats so I suppose I should just concentrate on one type of ring game and MTTS from now on. (or maybe just set up a seperate database for each type of game).


Can anyone help me on the bonus side of things? ie, the best order to in which to t/f my BR around the various sites? (assuming my BR is constantly increasing with each site of course)

Forget PO, you should have a feel for which one you're best at. Note I said best at, not what you enjoy most. Stick to that one, and really nail down your game. I loved the excitement (for me) of S&Gs and MTTs, but lost fairly consistantly at them. FR on the other hand I could basically break even. To me the obvious thing was to concentrate just on FR until I got (get) a good consistant game going. Put another way, FR was the least expensive way to learn my lessons playing the game. Thats what you want to look for.

There was another thread on the first page of this forum where someone asked about whoring, probably worth reading that. Take note of requirements for payment. I joined Stars because of their 100% match initial $50 deposit, which was the exact amount I wanted to deposit, however due to needing 500 FPPs to qualify for it, a month later I'm about 15% of the way there. The games I'm playing just dont earn enough rake to qualify for FPPs often.
