    Default Help on choosing books.

Which book is better for learning cash games?

Harrington on Cash Games or Professional No limit hold'em

I'm currently finishing the promotion on 2+2 in which after I finish I get 5 books. 2 from class A, and 3 from class B.

So I can either choose both Harrington on cash game or Professional NLH + 1 more book from class A.

I play on micros right now and am fammiliar with the concepts of playing TAG poker. I'm a winning player on stakes that I play, but would like to improve my game as much as I can. I don't need a book that has the "general advice" like 50 pages on tight is right and play agro. I already have Brunson's Super System. I play full ring and 6-max, depending on my mood and how I run.

Also for tier B books, which would you recommend I choose, on poker there are these available:

    Sklansky on Poker
Inside the poker mind by John Feeney
Poker essays volume 1 by Mason Malmuth
Poker essays volume 2 by Mason Malmuth
Poker essays volume 3 by Mason Malmuth
Poker, gaming and life by Aklansky
    Poker Tournament Strategies
    Poker Farce and Poker Truth
Getting started in Hold'em by Ed Miller

    Thanks

i personally found PNLHE more helpful than harrington on cash games. although they are similar in many ways and i read PNLHE first so that could be why. i just found that harrington sort of employed a super systems style "how to play this hand', whereas PNLHE takes a broader discussion of important, relevant concepts and helps you learn to apply them.

If you are playing the same tables as me sometimes please read Harrington.. otherwise go with the other one.

I dont see No Limit Hold'Em Theory and Practise listed there. I'd buy it ahead of both of those books.
Just dipping my toes back in.

There are certain pdfs on net...

Cash game related books I can choose are those 2. But considering people are recommending PNLHE and I can choose 1 more book, I guess I've made my choice.

    Thanks everyone!
