Calling there was the important mistake.

I think you're range is too narrow here. I do agree with the others though, you need to 3-bet with Kings. What you're hoping to do is get the other guy to go all-in with you pre-flop, but you at least need to know where you stand. I'm re-raising to at least $1 here if not a little more. Having said that, you probably are beat here on the river. I'm thinking he might have A-5s, 55, or a boat of some kind. That's all dependent on this guy though, and you don't have a lot of info on him. I tend to be more conservative against unknown players and I don't think I'd be making a hero call

His range for raising the flop and then barrelling turn and river is basically 44, 55, TT+ AT and MAYBE he does this with AQhh? most decent players at these stakes know they can get 3 streets of value with overpairs.

I wouldnt blame you for folding as played. But you only have 20 hands on this guy, he may not be as tight as you think. Besides, we are SMOKING his CO opening range. And gosh we have under repped our hand so much, the pot is huge, and the board has not changed much since the flop. I would call here.

Youre getting like 2.5-1 on a call and youre ahead vs his range on the river. (This is not including AQhh)

i think your mistake was calling in first place, if you have KK you must raise a nice amount so that hands like A5, or K10 suited for example fold and may not give you a headacke in the flop if 55 shows up for example. Maybe you end with low chips won in the hand if they all fold, but at least you don't get angry loosing with a hand much lower than your first one.

Raise pre as others have said. At 5/10 you will often be call by alot worst. Just get it in!!!.

When you got monster hands during pre plop, you must raised 3X big blind or go all-in. In this way, your opponent will think twice to call your bet and evaluate his card if there"s a chance in winning the game. After the pre-plop, It"s another ballgame, that is when you will know if you made it or your opponent does. Good luck and see you at the tables.

    3bet preflop
    3bet flop

2 hands played in only 20 dealt is not significant
