I take your point, and have dropped this goal because I am not able to play all weekend like I thought I could.
Results so far(lol): 2K hands in, -$117. I'm still convinced I'm just being cold-decked. My three biggest money losers, in order
1. AA (8 times, -$39)
2. ATs (9 times, -$34) -- will look into this...
3. KK (11 times, -$33)
However, in defense of "dollar amount goal" it's a good motivator to get a lot of hands in, take each session seriously, not play when distracted, etc.
You just have to base the dollar amount on a realistic winrate and number of hands, instead of on a car payment.
