Getting Reads
I am having a difficult time getting reads in 5 handed SNG's. Either these players are playing any two cards and I am not observing and putting it together correctly or I am getting outplayed. Can you guys offer some advice on reading and determining how to play against these players? I like to play loose aggressive and then switch to a conservative style later when I have the chips. If I lose more than 1/2 my chips in the 1st three rounds I will stay conservative and tight to bring that image back to the table. I like to showdown some good hands to brighten back up my image and then steal a little when necessary to survive and get my M back up if needed. However; 9 times out of 10 I will double up and sit pretty after the first 2 rounds. I play with people who raise out of position , call with second pair or bottom pair, think kickers are nonexistent, and all around have no real strategy. But, they show down good cards sometimes, so its hard to put them on something. I play 5 max SNG's. So I have 5 people and they all play almost the same way . Any suggestions.
