    Default Funny hand

Not sure what to call this..

5 people at 6max game. UTG goes all-in with his $0.55. UTG+1 calls. (his stack is $1.36)

Ok, I just got pocket aces. So I do what has to be done! All-in my $5.55.

SB and BB fold, UTG+1 goes all-in for his $1.36.

So hands are shown, UTG has K8o so whatever, UTG+1 has Q9s clubs. So I'm thinking, jackpot!

    Flop: 8d Qc Ac

Cool, trip aces.. but there is a flush draw out now..

    Turn: 5c

Here I go: Noooooooooo.. damn this luck!

Then the river comes and I see the pot being shoved my way. Huh? Check it out:

    > Travis99 posted small blind ($0.05)
    > philb1818 posted big blind ($0.10)
    > Game # 737,053,132 starting.

    > Pokermucle went all-in for $0.55
    > bonus100 folded
    > mmaldini1 called for $0.55
    > jackvance went all-in for $5.55
    > Travis99 folded
    > philb1818 folded
    > mmaldini1 went all-in for $1.34
    > Extra chips returned to jackvance, $3.66
    > Dealing the Flop(8dQcAc)
    > Dealing the turn(5c)
    > Dealing the river(5h)
    > jackvance wins $4.23 with a Full House, Aces full of Fives

The BB actually said: "Ah, justice on the river at last!" haha

I'm missing something. According to what I've learned this should be a misdeal.

You have a full house: AAA55

Remember theres always 5 cards in a poker hand, not just the three Aces you noticed first.

    Full House > Flush

The point was kinda the whole good luck => bad luck => good luck afterall thing

me and some buddies actually figured this kind of thing out one day when one us had AA and the flop was rag A rag all of hearts, some one else had flopped the flush. Evidently its about 1 in 3 that the AA still come out ahead (though I could be wrong on that, its just what we figured).

    Board A28

    AA win 34.44%
    10 J win 65.56%

So just a tad more than 1 in 3. A little less than a 2 to 1 dog.

Hm those are nice odds. But given I had only the river to get this done, I guess woulda been at approx. 1:5.

And hm, dunno what it is today but I've gotten AA three times, and two of those three times 1 person threw an all-in before it got to me. And then another one accepted the all-in. Lol I love 10NL

Or an extra card got switched!

One time, me and my friends were playing a friendly sng at my house, and when the flop came A 5 5 we came to the conclusion that we needed to check the cards.
