Default Folded JJ to an aggressive player.

I've played with this guy before and noticed he is very aggressive, always raising, but lately caught attention that this guy likes to re-raise me a lot, and I like to stress in particular that he likes to re-raise me with stressing me on it again. I grew wary of this guy didn't know what to do. I've seen his cards he doesn't always have good cards, sometimes at showdown he looses with A10os while I have AQ, so I was kind of sure I had him beat with the JJ he might have had AJs maybe AQs or AKs but I think he might have had AJs.

The thing I'm asking for help is not for this hand in particular but next time around in a similar situation like these, what should I do, so in that sense, what could I have done better in this hand. Here is how it went down.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($4.50)
    CO ($2.20)
    Button ($5.33)
    SB ($1.34)
    BB ($1.56)
    Hero (UTG) ($2.49)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, J
Hero bets $0.08, 2 folds, Button raises to $0.22, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.14

    Flop: ($0.47) 8, 3, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.28, Button raises to $2.24, Hero folds

    Total pot: $1.03 | Rake: $0.05

I'd fold too. He's in position and he's raised us twice. The overpair looks nice, even on an all heart flop. He's representing a big hand. We're not heavily invested and I think there are better opportunities for getting it in.

When he raises is is usually only good hands or was the A-10 an example of when he would raise. Also does he play a lot of hands or just a limited amount really aggressive.

he is really aggressive, so i figure sometimes he might be 3betting J10.

U dont wanna call a 3bet out of position with JJ, either 4bet/allin or fold and as this is 2NL and you stated that he is quite aggressively reraising you, i like shove over his 3bet.

Tough decision, I would think that both folding and pushing all in could be considered right

Because it's 2NL- I'd 4bet pre and fold to the shove on the flop

the fact that it's 2NL is not at all why we wanna 4b pre. in fact we're less likely to 4b JJ pre at 2NL than we are at 50NL

that being said, 4b pre and fold to the shove on the flop
