Without reads id say so. I might just fold the flop.

    Any stats on villain?
Currently grinding live cash games. Life is good.

When you were raised on the flop, what was your plan for the rest of the hand if you weren't going to fold on the flop?

What range of hands do you think villain calls pre-flop with and then raises flop? How are you getting on against that range?

For my opinion you should fold on the flop when the CO makes you re-raise.

This is very player-dependent. If villain is nitty, it's a good fold, and you could even fold to the flop raise. Most players you encounter will not be that nitty however. If villain is bluffy and continually trying to steal pots, you could call planning to call again on brick rivers, or even 3b/gii otf or jam the turn.

However, if you're not sure of your read or just not sure how to play it, it's better to fold early rather than make expensive mistakes on later streets. Your play was fine.

I had about 80 hands of history on this opp. when this hand went down, he was playing 30ish VPIP and 12-18 PFR

On the flop I felt pretty good about my hand, when he raised I thought he might me doing it with a weaker Q like KQ, QJ, Q10 or some sort of draw, so I called the raise hoping a blank would come off

When the turn came straight draws got there and my plan was to c/c but he bet out so much it really confused me

I did not think he would bet that much if he hit the straight, I started to think he had a set and was protecting it against a flush draw

I folded because I am losing to two pair, sets, a straight (doubtful) and he bet a lot which I was not expecting

Yeah I think a fold here is best. Even if you call the turn, then there are a lot of scary cards that can fall on the river
