Default Flopping a full house - how to get the most money out of it?

I flopped a full house. I tried to slowplay here, but didnt seem that anyone caught anything on the flop. How would you play to get the most out of this hand? Should I play anything differently? (PartyPoker NL $25) I had no read on this guy (almost sat down and quadtabling )

It's hard to get paid off when you flop the nuts like that unless someone else has the 6, then you see real fireworks.

If my opponents are pretty aggressive i will try and slowplay there, hoping the button or CO makes a play at the pot that you can call and continue to check/call till the river. If they are tighter, i'll just lead out and bet...A tight player isnt putting much money in there unless he made a set of 6's anyway, so maybe you'll get lucky and get a call from someone with the 9 or a draw.

anyone with high pockets will play back at you. high overcards may call if the price is right. only way to find out is to bet. put out a small amount they can call, so they will feel more pot-committed and so there will be a bigger kitty to tempt time if they happen to catch on the turn or river. then you can bet increasingly more on the later streets.

I dont like to showdown hands like that... i would prefer a couple callable bets on the flop and turn, and then drop the hammer AI on the river, if he calls, great, he's a dumbass and you get paid, but if he folds it, I throw my cards at the dealer and tell him to bury them. Shout "Making Money is Fun" and stack my chips. Try to verba-tilt when you got the goods. Its fun

i'd attack it like i had just a pair of nines.
eg look weak to a caller on the flop, not liking the river maybe checking then pushing the river on what looks like a complete bluff maybe.
Difficult here as you are not going to get paid to much i feel.

agreed with cheat. id rather take a tiny pot with a chance at a huge pot than a small pot with no risk.

btw, where have you been? i dont remember seeing any updates of you in the wsop...

The same basic thing happened to me in a home game last week. I had pocket Jacks, the flop came J J A. I flopped quad jacks. I was up against the other rock in the game, the first one being me. The turn came I bet small he called with a Q. The river came a 10 and I bet medium to small bet and he just called with Q 10. No re-raise just a call. I was kinda pissed cause I coulda gotten so much money out of him but one i was up against a rock and two there was the scare of a straight on the board so I only picked up a small hand.

I guess if you're up against a loose aggressive player and the flop comes big for you, bet big if your table image isn't too tight cause he'll think you're bluffing and he'll try to come over the top and that's when you can nail him.

this is how i like to play

    first pos. check/hesitate-call check/hesitate-call check/AI
last pos. bet 1/2 pot to checks or reraise a bet

usually flopping the nuts will only get payed off against lagg players or the more unlikely that some one else touched the flop to. I try to rep. a steal in late pos., hesitate for a 5-10 seconds and make a weak bet, make them think weakness and you might even get a raise, just call and see what happens on the turn.

its all about what the other player thinks you have when you are holding the nuts. the other night i floped the nut flush against a guy who min-raised QQ PF. I bet out 1/2 pot, and i guess he decided i was on TPTK and reraised all in with QQ (like 20$ more lol), i quickly call and he throws a fit. I find the trickiest part is to make people think you are bluffing when you arn't, which becomes a whole lot easier when you play LAGGier.

i had a SNG the other day where i went nuts with 4 people left and a big stack, i ended up getting 2 called PF with AKs and flopped trip A's and made a big bet in early pos, 1 called and 1 reraised me AI with KQ, i call and he shows 10J

i just realized im rambling, later guys

I too use the hesitate-call, hesitate-bet small routine. You aren’t getting paid big unless someone make a hand though. I like to make sure some bet is out on every street because of the passive players I run into that won’t bet unless someone is betting into them. I just make it very small bets until someone looks me up. I used the hesitate-call routine to bust someone last night. By the river 3Js were showing and like an 8 and a 7. I held the other J but by hesitating for every bet I convinced him I didn’t have it. He pushed on the river, the rest is history.
