Looking back at it again, it seems he either wanted to get called on his post-flop bet (a pot sized bet for 1/3 of his stack), or it was a weak attempt to take the pot then. If he was concerned about the strength of his hand he could have pushed and I would likely have been more convinced he had a made flush. As it was, it looked like a draw to me and I wanted to commit him. Too bad he made it
