    yep

You got all your chips in on the flop, where you were the 70.6% favorite.

What are you going to do? He bets, you re-raise and he calls. Sod the slow play, there's nothing you could do. Dangerous flop for you though.

    Without specific read on UTG:
Preflop - I raise 3BB - you have the stack, try to isolate UTG
Postflop: Unless UTG is very tight you played it fine

Given stack sizes I dont think you can profitably isolate UTG. If he calls your raise preflop your implied odds go way down and you bloated a pot against a shortstack with a hand that essentially needs to hit one of its 2 outs.

UTG limped for 10% of his stack, he may fold to a 3BB raise

If he already has put that much in then the chances are that he will not fold to a smallish raise. Sometimes he will, yes, but the other times he simply calls or pushes you are just wasting money. The shorter the stack the further we need to feel comfortable to go with this hand and with 55 I dont think we want to go very far without a set, and playing for a set we wont be getting the odds.

Looking back at it again, it seems he either wanted to get called on his post-flop bet (a pot sized bet for 1/3 of his stack), or it was a weak attempt to take the pot then. If he was concerned about the strength of his hand he could have pushed and I would likely have been more convinced he had a made flush. As it was, it looked like a draw to me and I wanted to commit him. Too bad he made it

    Thanks.
