    Default Flopped 2 pair.

no reads on villain, been at table for an orbit and he hasnt played anything yet. I feel like I should have C bet closer to pot, ~2

On the flop he could be doing this with AJ AQs AK, i doubt AK cause i feel like he would have 3bet pre. He Could Be playing 55,JJ,QQs AXs like this too.

Well you put him on a range, which is good, so now it's time to figure out your equity against that range. Whip out PokerStove and see what's up and if you want to get it in.

    Tie: 0.5%
    Lost: 36.5%

we have him beat put on my original range. but since I have no reads, i really dont know how hes going to be playing his monstes (AK,AA,KK)which are not included in my original range.

    Same range (monsters included)
    Win: 56.1%
    Tie: 1.9%

what you've gotta think about is how his range might change if you 3bet the flop. for example, if you 3bet shove, what range of hands is he calling your shove with?

when thinking of ranges its important to remember that we need to consider that villains betting range might be very different to his continuing range when we raise.

i think i worded that badly. hopefully you get the point.

Put on a realistic continuing range to a shove: (AK,AA,AJ,55,34s AXs) possibly some Aq

    Win: 53.7%
    Tie: 0.4%
    Lost: 45.9%

I can narrow the range, bc I dont think hes taking this line pre with AA or AK, toAJ,55,34s,AXs) and some AQ.

    Win: 52.0%
    Tie: 0.3%
    Lost: 47.7%
