I see this a lot too and completely agree.. however, this guy was overbetting the river way too often.. I had to look him up, I just picked a bad spot. If we were deeper its an easy fold.

I did win a couple of big pots with him later since he is also a calling station. I ended up $4 up against him for the session so all is good. He didn't shove the river against me anymore..

I have to remember that at these stakes opponents are all level one thinkers.. sometimes I try to read too much into the action.
