Default Facing two opponents...folding the best hand

How often do you fold the best hand when facing two opponents post flop.

Say youve got JJ you raised preflop 2 callers.

    flop is 10 7 2.

You bet out , Reraise, then one guy pushes.

You fold one guy shows a10 the other shows 89 suited.

Situations like these where you think they must have trips/straight etc but dont have jack shit.

Well, this situation you can't have trips or a straight, but I know what your talking about. Just note it down and play accordingly.

Poker is a game of incomplete information. Sometimes you just got to make these folds because between the odds you're beat now or beat by the river you're getting the way worst of it.

BTW: You should read Theory of Poker. Might help you figure out how to think about stuff like this.

He doesn't get why sets are 12% to come on the flop, why do you think he would get TOP?

    Hi,

When I am playing poker, the most important thing for me is my opponents. I pay more attention to them then to my own cards. Depending on the type of your rivals, you can decide whether it is worth to fold such hand or not. In this case I can not say with confidence just because I don't know anything about the other players, but I am sure that you know what I mean.
