    No hindsight for the blind.

Default Don't play when you're tired.

    Ugly things can happen:

Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.5o BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    (not a single read either)

    UTG+1 ($9.10)
    MP1 ($25.70)
    MP2 ($64.15)
    MP3 ($19.50)
    CO ($25.75)
    Button ($137.85)
    Sleeping Beauty ($51.95)
    BB ($42.45)
    UTG ($50.90)

Preflop: Sleeping Beauty is SB with J, A. Sleeping Beauty posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Sleeping Beauty (poster) completes, BB checks.

    Flop: ($2.50) J, 2, 8 (5 players)
Sleeping Beauty bets $2, BB folds, UTG calls $2, UTG+1 raises to $8.6, CO calls $8.60, Sleeping Beauty raises to $20, UTG folds, CO raises to $25.25,
    Sleeping Beauty calls $5.25.

Amazing what some pizza, one beer and general sleepyness can do to your game. It kinda sucks to get sleepy just when the fish start to come to the ponds for a saturday night swim, but when you're not playing your A- B- or even C-game you're better off getting some rest.

umm... hate to be a donk, but why don't you tell us what happened (after you put them allin) ?

Last time I was extremely tired playing poker, I was in a tourny for over 4 hours. It was about 6 AM where I live, and everyone else was at about midnight...
I still managed not to mess up... untill heads-up that is...

way too much action on a limped pot to go crazy with TPTK
i think that is what halvsum is saying

one dude is probably on the flush draw and the other hit his set
    good luck

being paradise i put one on a flush draw, most other 50NL tables it would be sets all around

Never read any stickies or announcements
    Don't play when you're tired.
This is probably some of the best advice ever. I'll put it top 3.

    1. Play within your bankroll.
    2. Don't tilt.
    3. Hit more sets.
    4. Don't play when you're tired (I guess you could throw this in with don't tilt?)

    ok, top 4.

Exactly. Which I'd have known had I not been multitabling with my eyes half shut. Indeed, one was on a flush draw and the other had a set.

Why don't we throw them both plus "Don't play when you're drunk" in with "Don't play when you're not mentally ready to play"?

    Cuz that's kinda vague?...

I know it's true.. and I always try my best to assess how mentally ready I am.. but it's not always so easy. I can usually tell I'm sucking horribly when I make horrendous plays (and then I quickly quit).. but then some damage has already been done.
