Do you sometimes mess up when multi-tabling?

Default Do you sometimes mess up when multi-tabling?

I quad table, and sometimes I randomly fold hands that I want to play preflop, or autofold hands once I hit the flop really hard (eg from the BB) and someone bets when I'm not really paying attention..

It happens pretty rarely, but on occasion I'll get into a hand on some other table and be thinking about my next move, then just fold a good hand on another table without even looking at it twice....

I dont know if this is some broken connection in my brain or me getting too anxious over my hands on other tables, or what. But its really annoying

Do you find yourself doing this? Is it just a factor of my inexperience at multi-tabling (only a couple months) ?

I'm trying to make an effort to think about every single hand on every single table but sometimes it just doesnt work out lol

I misclick sometimes. If there is action in a big pot on one table, I am more inclined to drop speculative hands on another table (ie sometimes I might raise a suited connector in LP if the situation is right, but if I'm in a big pot on another table I'll just fold it).

The solution to your problem is simple: cut down on tables.

I find that I win less money when I do this.

It doesnt really happen enough for me to want to drop tables.

    It still happens sometimes though.

How long have you been 4-tabling? I find that it gets easier with practice. I sometimes did this when I first started 2-tabling, but now I 8-table with no problem.

For the life of me, I am stuck on 2 tables. When I try 3 or 4, I just can't seem to get a good read on the players. I like to know who is doing the raising, who bluffed and with what cards, etc. But with more than 2 tables, I just can't get that data.

So how do you develop reads on players when playing 4+ tables?

I'm guessing that when you play lagre numbers of tables a HUD and statistics are very, very valuable.

I was 6 tabling 50 NL last night and someone did something that almost caught me off gaurd. Someone had 50.50 and went allin preflop. With that stack it was like "perfect." By this I mean it didn't look like an allin since it was 2 $25 chips and a $.50 chip, and it said "Fold" "Call $50." I alllllllmost clicked call thinking it was a min raise then noticed it at the last minute. It was like he tried to get that amount so he could pull the trick.... interesting to say the least.

Misclicks suck. And I really need to get a HUD program...

You can try using programs like multitable helper so you always act in the most efficient manner on your tables that require attention.

Like 2 years ago I accident clicked allin against AA and QQ with K4 and spiked trips. Needless to say the chatbox was fun after that.

I have used GT+ for the past 3-4 months. But still, when table 4 comes up for my turn ... pot is $6, bet is $3, and I have to figure out who bet the $3. Was it the 47/11/4.5 player or the 11/3/2 player? Then if I can make that determination, I try to put THAT player on a range of hands. By now, I would have 2 other tables screaming at me. I guess I just ain't quick enough.

yesterday I had pocket dueces and quickly called the .10 pre-flop. well it was actually something like $7. I never looked at the call/raise amount, just hit the call button while concentrating on the play in another window.

Luckily I got it back a little bit later but that sucked.
