If you won't take a 2:1 edge in a tourney, time to grow some balls

try some punctuation or something there....

Huh??? You said post flop. 55 all in is at best a 1:1 pre-flop.... a 2:1 edge is pretty decent at the final table post flop.

I'd do it. I'd rather get a big chip stack 65% of the time (and be out of the tourney 35% of the time), then limp ITM and make $3 for your 4 hours work.

Depends. Early on, I'm trying for very few showdowns unless I've got the hand won.

Eventually the blinds catch up with everyones stack and you need to get lucky and get some chips.

    At this point, I'd gamble.

What or who are you complaning about?

Also, berating an opponent for a poor play is a big no no.

    Bad dog!

    Baaaaaad dog!

Don't complain becuase he missplays a hand, every mistake your opponents make and that you don't is money in your pocket. You've just gotta keep going out there and getting that money.

Just a little story abut doing this:

I did this to a friend in a ring game one time, he bet into me and i knew he was on the flush cause of the bets size. I raised giving him 2:1 to call hoping to he would think i could check the turn and giving him correct odds by the river. He called and then on the turn i put in a pot size bet and he had to fold.
Course he figured it out and later he trapped me when i tried to do this again and he won his money back...

This was a ring game though, in a tourney i dont think i would because of the chance of him making/having a pair/2 pair/trips to go with his hand and calling, or i have a bad read on him, and in either case knocks me out of the tournament.

Please refer to http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...?p=66655#66655 to see the witty comeback I made, coincidentally, in the wrong forum. Thank you

Wow. I've got to hand it to you.

You continue to make the most useless posts and now in the wrong forum.

You may be a greater post-whore than I.
