Default Couldn't find the search button - position

I wanted to search for playing in and out of position, but as you can see I didn't find the search button. Should I bet if I'm out of position or check it down? My brother said if I'm out of position it's either raise or fold.

Position is one of many things to consider when thinking about what action to take. While it is important, it is by no means the deciding factor to all actions. Other things to consider
    -stack sizes
    -flop texture
    -villain's tendancies
    -ranges
    -relative hand strength

    there's more of course.

I can't even imagine to think about everything else has to be taken under consideration, but I am interested in learning.

    ... it depends?...

If you're out of position, you decisions become much tougher, but we need information about your opponent, in each and every situation.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes
