Continuation Bets in NL $25

Does anyone else out there have problems with c-bets in NL $25? Is it because of all of the calling stations out there at this limit? Do I need to raise my c-bets from 1/2 pot to 2/3?

Any advice would be great!

1/2 pot is way too small for those chumps. Go 3/4 pot to full pot.

Ditto. You're not dealing with enough money to scare people yet. That's why moving up levels is key sometimes. Some people will pay $2 to see another card (whether they have the odds to do so or not), while at higher levels they won't pay $8 to see the card (with the same odds).

I'd base it on the opponent im playing. If i can get free cards ill take them. Recently building back up i found c-beting was a nasty looking leak so i only c-bet when it appeared i' hit something or just check-raised the turn when i got bet into

C-betting lows on 25nl. They just call and then check/fold the turn

I will con't bet the turn if I still have outs for the river or if I think it'll push them off their hand.If they call the turn and I miss the river I will check fold,and if they raise me on the turn I will fold.

The best advice is probably to c-bet when you actually hit something or if you figure your ace high is the strongest hand out there atm.

Too many people simply c-bet too often with nothing because they like being aggressive. Not only are you going to get cut to shreds by an observant TAG, even the fish might beat you.

Example:

You AQ, flop KJ2. Check.

You AK, flop 269. Bet.

You AT, flop TJ3. Bet.

If you have AK and flop is QJ2, bet. You have the nut no-pair, outs to high heaven.

I'm a 3/4 pot guy, full pot when I'm leading without "the initiative." Because I have a better feel for when to put on the breaks and like building big pots with my best hands.

Some guys just have to be shown a hand. Pick them out and value bet them to death. The beuty of NLHE is that the smaller bets on earlier streets gives you room to find a hand and beat them over the head with it when they're too inexperienced to fold.
