coaching

So iv been considering hiring a coach and I'm wondering if anyone has used before and how much it helped. I was thinking about talking to an instructor from grinderschool any suggestions?

carroters and M2M both have coaching threads here in the BC

both of them have made videos for grinderschool as well AFAIK

although i dont think M2M is coaching ATM, but carrots s an awesome coach as well, highly recommended

I highly recommend Grinderschool coaches if you are sure you feel the need for a coach.

Thanks for the reply i contacted CodeRed and started talking about coaching with him iv seen a few of his videos from grinderschool. Whats your thought on coaching i really feel like im throwing some pride out the window but i do think i need some help with finding leaks. Also i have no idea how to use pokertracker its kind of a glorified winnings graph for me at the moment.

Lets see I think Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Lance Armstrong also swallowed their pride and used a coach I think! And yes many "Professional poker players" use coaches as well.

Why would gettting coaching ever be an insult to pride?

It's not a matter of pride. It's a matter of wanting a better understanding of how to play the game, not clicking buttons or shoving chips.

You could also take pride in the fact that you're giving yourself every opportunity to play to the best of your ability.
