I agree this is true most of the time. How about low pp (22-77) in early position? Should I raise them? Fold them? I usually open- limp with them, especially when there is not a lot of preflop raises at the table.
Yea, on passive fishy tables this is fine. Set (unlike s00ted gappers) is a powerful hand if you make it and opposition is bad enough to make it very profitable. In fact, 'set farming' is all you need to beat micros.
