Chardrian's tip o' the week
1) Gold paint is the bomb!
2) I was gonna post something on the importance of putting your players on a range of hands - but it got really big and cumbersome, so I just stopped. Instead my tip o' the week is for Small Table Size Limit.
I have been playing 5 max tables lately. And just killing them. Some of it has been luck, but some of it has been pretty basic. There are two basic steps: 1) never, ever open limp. If you are the first one to act, you either raise or fold. The only time you are allowed to limp is if someone in front of you has limped and you have a good drawing hand. And 2) learn to fold by the turn.
When I am running bad and seeing other fish catch, I will often fall back into the leak of just being overly aggressive with any A and betting every street even if I am getting called. Learning how to always raise preflop, but then give up a hand after the flop has hit well it has been very good to me. So that's my tip o' the week.
