Default Can't seem to find my game

I played low limit mtt's and sng's on party. I decided to split my bankroll between Stars and Absolute. Since moving, my br has been on a steady decline. I never really make much money but I seldom have to redeposit. Maybe it's my play, maybe it's the competition, maybe it's that I haven't settled into one particular game. I have tried low limit MTT's and sngs(both regular and turbo) and only been itm once. I have also tried some micro limit ring games. I guess my questions are:
Do most people play 1 type of game exclusively?
Is the competition that much better on Stars? even at the lower limits.
Maybe all this is just normal variance and getting used to the new interfaces and stuff. Thoughts??

lemonade was a popular drink and it still is
I think most people play a lot of one format and then dabble in other formats when they get bored. I play mainly 6max NL, but play a couple SNGs a week. Stars will be a bit tighter compared to party, but certainly not much better. More often Stars plays are way less aggro than Party players.

Hard to say if it's variance or what. Post hands, ask questions, participate in the forums and you'll quickly find out how to play the games and make lots of money.

I play one table SNG's, 6-max NL and Fullring FL. Usually I play one of the games a couple of weeks and then I switch to another one, etc. Maybe it's better to really foucus on one game, but I also think it's good to switch so that you don't get bored.

When you first start out, it's a good idea to focus on one type of game. It takes a different mindset to play tournaments as opposed to ring.

If I were you, I'd start playing one and two table SnGs exclusively until you figure out how to beat those. Then you can carry on that knowledge to MTTs and slowly learn how to beat those. SnGs are less variance and less frustrating and will allow your bankroll to grow while you're learning the fundamentals of tourney poker.

And, as mentioned, post lots of hands.
