Can you check raise for value on this river card?

So checking isn't the best line here as villain will check behind hands you beat and mostly only bet hands that beat you. Therefore losing out on value.

Can you ever give villain credit for a backdoor flush here? I always find it hard to believe someone would call on the hope of hitting a backdoor flushdraw.

Any spade draw which includes the will clearly call you down all day long. Otherwise, Asxs might call the flop and then carry on to the river because of the draw.
