Default Can a site really not allow cashouts under a certain amount?

I have had money on Golden Riviera for about a year, barely playing it but I went to cash it out the other day to move it to another site. They claim that the minimum withdrawl is $50.

Can they really keep my money? I was going to contact support and complain. Just another feature of a really crappy site.

Pretty standard practice for most online poker rooms. You could always seek out another player to trade funds to another site, but I've never even heard of Golden Riveria so I'm not too sure how successful you'll be. I'm assuming it's a skin of some bigger network.

They can really do whatever they want, including not giving you your money altogether. I don't mean that as a "DONT PLAY ON THE INTERNET!" thing, but I mean it as a "Player Beware, stick to reputable sites" thing.

A lot of sites set $50 as their minimum withdrawal size.

Join a .25/.50 HU table and open shove any red ace. Limp black aces for balance.

Wow. You're right, just another reason not to ever play at this site again. I guess I'm going to load up a 25nl table and camp out. The only problem is the site is so crappy they don't even have any 25NL tables up right now.

If I'm going to just play like a rock do you think I could hop right up to 50NL?
