I kinda felt he had a set here, and like I was getting vb'd kinda poorly. Getting 5-1 makes this a tough fold for me. Also, should I pot the turn?

dont ever fold. if you think he will call a raise with AT, or JJ make a small raise.

I guess my real question is, when he suddenly wakes up on this river, what are we beating that he's betting? I mean, I'm never folding here with these odds, but what do you guys think about his river donking range? AT/JJ/SD/53/Sets/hands that missed and are bluffing randomly? That bet kinda screamed "I have a hand please call my small bet." Am I way off here?

Call here, but I hate it when the villian suddenly donk bets on the river.

    Call.
I woulda hit the turn a bit harder than that.
That donk bet on the river SUCKS. But it's probably smart on his behalf and the only reason i say that is it scares you and makes almost NO sense. LOL I bet he had some SHIT and didnt want you to bet big on the river.
    Stack That Arab Money!!!

My bet is that when that last diamond hit, he was trying to get you to believe that he hit the flush. The question is did/does he. The way he was calling throughout would lead me to believe he may have been chasing all along with two high diamonds.

Unlikely the flush is of any concern. If he has it we pay him off.

The river bet is so weak, we don't have any reads on what weak bets mean, therefore, look him up. You gotta have decent equity here.

I'll make a prop bet with someone villian has 3-5 though, lol. Could be sooted with diamonds.

i'd just call... even though in my experiences villain has air... had a set on the flop... or ran diamonds for a flush....
