bonuses

ok, quick background information:

i've been playing 50nl and 100 nl on stars for a while...I decided to cash out 2k and the pokerstars cashout curse everyone talks about apparently hit me...ridiculous run of bad cards + a little bit of tilting and I drop about 10 buyins, and my roll is down to roughly $400.

So basically what I want to know is, are there any relatively quick bonuses that could get me at least in the 750-1k area (and if so give me instructions etc plz), or would it be faster just to grind it out at 25nl for a while (not really looking forward to this )?

grind it out at 25NL somewhere where you can collect bonuses. Theres a whole section of the forum devoted to showing off various bonuses.

That's great that it cracks you up, but the majority of the 10 buyins was in fact from a bad run of cards, 2 outers after 2 outers, etc. I made a couple poor choices that were influenced by this bad run, but the tilt factor accounted for a miniscule part of it.

and to be honest there are a lot of great poker players who are fully entitled to ridicule my game, but I am pretty sure you aren't one of them.

i havnt seen your game so i certainly wont start ridiculing it. I just found it funny the way you even said that you changed your play after cashing out, but still managed to blame a "cashout curse" for your loses.

If it really was just a run of bad cards then youll be fine getting back up to where you were.

where did i say i changed my play? the "cashout curse" was sarcasm obviously. it's just that now christmas break is over for me, and i wont have as much time to play, and i dont want to spend the time i do have on 25nl if i can avoid it, but if i cant i guess thats fine.

Well if it was sarcasm i apologise but you really have no idea how many people come and complain about it seriously. The number of internet poker is rigged threads that pop up is just silly.

If you have still have the BR for 50NL then you can clear bonuses faster there.

If 25NL is all you can safely afford then you can still clear most of them pretty quickly and move back up. This is the thread you want.

FOr bonuses go to online poker rooms forum and check the thread titled something like EasyT's 25NL bonus guide.
If you have a $500 roll u can rakeback through the old party skins and clear anything upto about 1k in bonuses just sat at 25NL doing nothing special but playing monsters.

I recently strayed off the poker path and qualified a bonus on Casino On Net, they were offering a 100% up to $200.00 bounus 20x. I only played BJ with a chart from Wizard of Odds. The whole session, betting $5.00 per hand took around 4 hours, but as soon as I reached the 20x wr requirement, I was sitting right at $400.00....deposited, qualified, and cashe out the same night....Easy $200.00
