    Default BI size

Just something I have been thinking about..

Most good players have a skill advantage, and play more profitably the bigger their BI is. Therefore, they buy in for the full 100BB when the max is 100BB.

Obviously with any BI, there will be spots where you wish you were shorter and spots where you wish you were deeper, so for each player/style of play there should be a BI size which is the most +EV.

I'll be the first to admit that my later street game is rather weak, and I have found that I tend to play better if I buy in for ~60-70 BB and cash out when I exceed ~100-120 BB.

But for those who have a strong understanding of turn/river play, how deep is an optimal stack size?

I'd be more concerned about the optimal stack size to develop my game.

Ah.. well, I'm not too confused over that. I make the most BB/100 (sadly still not particularly high) at 60-70 BB, and I'm working on my game (later street game in particular) so that I can play more +EV at 100BB which is the max at Stars, which is where I see most of my hands. I guess my question isn't a particularly practical one, especially since Stars caps BI at 100BB, but I was just curious about what people thought.
