    Default best advice in nl

it probably saved me a lot of money ever since I employed it

    1)no read no bluff

2)everyone's a pussy until proven otherwise

#1 is very good advice with the exception that if you raised preflop and are checked to or first to act, you should make a decent-sized bet at the flop no matter how badly you missed it (unless the board is super dangerous and you have no piece).

#2 I'm not sure exactly what you mean, though there are many weak players who are easy to run over at NL. For example, they have QK and the flop comes Q64. They bet, you call with a flush draw, middle pair, OESD, whatever. Turn comes an ace, which doesn't help your hand. They check it, you bet big and fold them out. Is this what you're talking about?

It seems like 1 and 2 contradict each other a bit though, because if you're assumng everyone's a pussy, that means you must be making bluffs without concrete reads, no?

Or by #2 do you mean don't call big bets trying to snap off a bluff unless you have a read that the guy is bluffing? That is good advice as well; many inexperienced players incorrectly read oversized bets as bluffs rather than a sign of strength.

#1 is mostly good. and if ur not a very good consistent player i wouldnt even bluff at a read.

#2 i disagree with. this mindset will make u fall into a lot of traps.
