Lemme break it down simple.
Would i be wrong to....
Enter Live MTT for $50 at my local casino not having a big bankroll. I know technically i should have X buyins but i just got hired at a job that ill be working at 3-4 days a week making 300+ a week at. So while i don't have a bankroll persay ill have guarenteed money at the end of the week. I only plan on entering maybe one a week so i don't see why this would be a problem. I'd rather do this for a few months until i do build a decent sized B.R. to deposit online. I really wanna skip playing MICRO-Stakes. It does not seem appealing to me. At least SNG , and MTT wise. I have no problem playing .25/.50 cashgame because cashgame is my weaker game and tournament play i'd say is my stronger game. It's how i started playing , 6-10 friends all put up $5-$10 , 2nd gets buy in back winner takes the rest. That's how i learned the game and within months i was crushing that home game. That home game doesn't exist for me anymore because it was all my ex girlfriends friends who played and since we've split i've mainly lost contact with all of them. After moving back to my original neighborhood and re-uniting with my high school friends they all played cash game .25/.50 blinds. I've crushed that game many times before sometimes felting everybody until it was me and one more person heads up for all of the buy-ins , which in a sense was like a SNG. Lately none of them have invited me to their games which is bullshit. I think it might have to do with them knowing i take the game much more serious than them , instead of making it a social event.
Ah well.
That's why i feel it's time for the casino.
I think casino > than online for these reasons.
-Reads on players
-More chances at bluffing
-Having chips in front of me makes me take the game more serious and play better compared to having my chips a mouseclick away. I feel i play looser online which is the wrong approach.
Sorry for rambling on but that's how i do sometimes.
