    Default Bankroll question

i've got a bankroll of approx. $750. i have played quite a lot online and know how the game works (i built my bankroll from $50 without much deposit bonus help btw).

usually i play a random bunch of games. sometimes sngs, sometimes cash games, sometimes mtts. sometimes i'll even play omaha or stud or limit/pl. lol.
i want to structure the games i play now properly and really focus in on one area of the game. i want to play cash (ring) games. at what stakes should i start playing? $10nl or $25nl?

    and a general question:
If you have a starting bankroll of $5000 - at what level should you start playing?
should you start at $100/$200 or something like $10/$25?

    thanks for all future replies

Play 25nl, you have the roll for it [typically 20buyins] and at least some poker knowledge which is basically what you need to beat those levels.

If you have a $5k roll you are no where near ready to play 100/200 or 10/25 assuming limit and even further away if you are talking no limit. "Standard" BR requirements for a game like 1000nl are 50buyins, so $50,000; however, if you start with a 50k roll you shouldnt jump right into those stakes. At 50nl and below I wouldnt see a problem with starting out at those levels if you have the bankroll, but jumping in at stakes any higher even with the roll is just asking to lose your money quickly.

    k thanks.

btw, when i said $100/$200 i meant cash games with a max. buyin of $100 or a max buyin of $200. i was unclear.
