you may get a better (thought provoking) answer in the SH limit forum...try posting it there, or better yet, have a mod move it.
i play a little limit, and i doubt i would have bet the turn, but i dont think it was a bad play. calling the raise was prolly bad...as i doubt you beat anything there that would raise you...you looked to get lucky on the river, but got 3bet...at that point you have to feel that a "split" is the best thing you can hope for, and likely, you were dead the whole time. i just dont see KK 3betting the river w/ the A up there, or checking the flop, i can see AA doing that, but QQ+ would certainly 3bet pf, right?

...but i DO see quads doing it...not that i ever put someone on quads...and fold when i have a higher-end boat...just too rare.

just a bad beat, to me.

however, the best advice i can give you is: dont allow yourself to get so short-stacked in the first place. not enough raising for you to be forced AI, imo. always reload when under 10 BB's minimum...just in case you get a monster in a raising war. no excuse for that in any ring game, NL or limit.
