Notes are about 5000x easier at Rush if you use the notes feature on a HUD

How so? I use HEM, and the HUD switches over to the new players as soon you move tables. This makes things difficult sometimes. Example: you're playing a hand heads up, you make a bet, and the opponent folds. You now have about 1 second to click on the notebox before it changes.

I explored the possibility of using HEM's hand replayer for note taking. This would have been nice because you could also look into very detailed stats on certain regs between sessions and take notes. Unfortunately, there's no way to navigate to notes from the hand replayer. It would be very useful if you could just double-click a players name and be taken to his notes, but you can't.

However, FTP's hand replayer does have the functionality to write notes on players. It's a very nice way of doing things. Just leave some open space on your monitor and look through interesting hands when there's no action to you.

With a format like Rush, what is the tightest range you can play to be profitable? Can you play only AA/KK and beat the blinds? I'm imagining many tables...

Why would you think that Rush is a good format for doing that? That's the sort of adjustment you would make for an extremely loose/bad dynamic. If anything, I think Rush plays a bit tighter than usual. Maybe that could work at 5nl, but anything above that and the blinds will eat you alive.

I think a big key to beating Rush is exploiting the bad robotic regs. Due to the nature of the game, the player pool typically has a higher reg:fish ratio. Most fish will only play 1 or 2 tables, whereas the regs will play 3 or 4, so the pool gets more saturated. There are a lot of extremely nitty guys 4-tabling, probably thinking that they eek out a higher hourly and lower their variance since they get so much volume. Maybe they do alright at it, but those guys are easy to exploit, even by people like me who aren't great at poker.

This is different from regular ring game how? Do you mean to say ring games don't have the same issue, where regs play many tables and the fish play only a few?

By the way, if you think you're not great at poker then why are you playing 50s

After giving it some more thought, I think you're right. At normal tables regs are multitabling way more, so those games are saturated too. And playing one table of full ring Rush is the equivalent of playing 4 regular tables, which is more than a lot of fish would normally play. So the ratio might actually be more desirable at Rush.

I'm playing 50nl because I beat 25nl FR at a good clip over a decent sample, and I'm rolled for 50nl. It seems like the logical thing to do. I don't think 50nl is very tough, but if I can't beat it for whatever reason, I can always move back down.

ok, on to the next question, then: How the hell are we supposed to pronounce your name? I've been sort of mentally pronouncing it 'grine-ydrowave', rhyming with microwave. This doesn't make a great deal of sense however. I am very tilted by this.
