Closing the gap between your vpip/pfr is a must do if you want to make money. I took this same advice recently and automatically saw the benefits. It's not very hard to do but you have to practice the discipline to break your current habits. Fold all hands that you're not comfortable raising with in early positions. For me this meant folding 22-66 and hands like KQo. Open limping with these hands leaves you playing out of position, with a crap hand and little to no initiative. Do a search for davens planning hands post for some examples and a better explanation. | |

Well i did 4 tables before going to work out (4 seperate tables...) and my vp/pfr was definitly where it needed to be, and it showed... i was running something like 10/10/8 across a 100 on one, 11/11/5 on another, and 13/11/4 on the other. | |
