    Default Another newbie question

    Would you call on this

    7 peple at the table
    late position
    no raise but everyone call
    J7 flush

I have read the tips on this site and therefor folded.
But this sort of feels like a possibly good hand

is it worth the minimum bet to see the flop ?

I would, especially in late position. Just don't get married to the hand when you hit middle pair on the flop.

No, it's absolute trash. On of the reasons why play money is so bad is becuase you always have enormous implied odds so you could call here. But in a ring game, I wouldnt even bother.

You did the right thing in folding that. The next hand is less than a minute away.

At a NL table with miniscule BBs, you would fold J7s?

Yup. Non-nut flush, makes 1 straight (non nut) against a huge field.

    What are you hoping for?

    By the way
Can you fold to much - I mean in the long run people will know out that you only play 'sure' hands and isnt that a tell in a way ?

Don't worry about your table image for a while. You could fold for 30 hands and raise with AA UTG and still get called.

Only the smart ones will catch on... and fortunately, there aren't too many of them.

nm, I just re-read this post. I thought he was in the SB. I confused with a different post. That's what I get for watching Basketball and reading forums at the same time. I'd fold this hand every single time.
