Default Annoying call station won't go away!

    Everleaf No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) - Everleaf Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG ($7.75)
    MP ($5.90)
    Button ($4.50)
    Hero (SB) ($14.65)
    BB ($14.28)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
1 fold, MP bets $0.30, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

    Flop: ($0.90) 9, Q, A (3 players)
Hero bets $0.70, BB calls $0.70, 1 fold

    Turn: ($2.30) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

    River: ($6.30) J (2 players)
    Hero???

Villain is super fishy (51/9/1.2 over 100+ hands) and is a massive station. He's shown down mid pair-shitty kicker type hands and trips on these boards, but also a full house after ignoring 3 barrel aggression on a straight flush flop (which he didn't hit til the river, holding a baby pair).
I generally need help with AQo, ATs, KQ- type hands in these spots, should I be 3-betting this range multi-way or oop ever? I know this seat sucks but selection was very limited.

You'll change your attitude towards megafish if you ever move up to where they're less common.

Don't 3b pre if megafish is in the blinds -- you want to encourage them in the pot.

    pot flop, $2/fold river

listen to dozer, he is damn right.

always pot flop in these spot, you have the nuts on flop 99% of times.
turn is great, his calling range has any QXh, any AXh, probably any heart and OESD, gutshots.
river think i'bet a little more then dozer said, like 3-3.5 and i dont think i'd be folding cause he just called up to here., depends on timing and size.
anyway, vs this type of players always value bet the shit out of them and never bluff them.

if he raises the river you're never good, there are virtually no bluffs in his range -- what timing or size would convince you to b/c? I don't hate $3, but we are making it harder for him to call with Qx, JT. Ax he's probably calling anyway, but more combos of the former

I would bet/fold 4.5, never expecting him to fold an ace. He will call with Qx, Jx sometimes.

You should be really happy for annoying calling stations that don't go away. Pot flop and turn. Bet/folding river ~$4 as played.

The board pairing makes it more likely that he'll call down with A2-AJ.

dont have a standard set, like if he waits 5sec and raise is X i call, if not i fold, timing on other streets counts also. but if he snap shoves river i would fold a lot, if he thinks a bit and then raises/shoves i would be calling a lot more. i dont think about river bluff, but he could raise for value he thinks QJ,AJ. a lot of times i listen to my gut also in spots like this vs this kind of players.

tho you may be right, i just reread OP post and seen he isnt that agrro. so yes, i might be wrong about b/c river and b/f would be better most times

in general, i think that the longer someone times out before making a "big move" like jamming over a river bet, the more likely they are to have the nuts. especially fish. this is because they often want to make you think they have a hard decision and they cant decide what to do when really they have the stone cold nachos. conversely, i think when bad players bluff, it's generally quite an impulsive, often irrational decision (hence quicker timing on average), and isn't the result of 30 time-bank seconds worth of counting how many combos in hero's range will fold and how that compares to breakeven fold frequencies for different betsizes and all that shit.

yah I agree. It seems like oskar has a good for feel timing tells, and he also says that the obnoxious timedown is always the nuts, which in my experience seemed to be true a lot as well.
