First, thank you for the incredibly generous offer. I'd like to apply for this.

I realize first-off that the fact that I've really never posted here on FTR could be an issue, and if you don't mind I'd like to address it. In short, I come here looking for advice from the people who really know what they're doing, and it's dawned on me that I'm not one of those people! I guess I figured no one wants advice from the guy looking for the same thing, and I'd just as soon not risk leading someone in the wrong direction. I've lurked here for quite a while, though, and would love to become a part of another community like GS.

As for my game, I play the micro-level of PokerStars' NLHE SnGs/MTTs and once in a while stray over to the cash tables (usually after I win some money and don't mind losing a few cents). I'd say I'm just above break-even, but really don't like the idea of not excelling at what I love to do. In all aspects of my life, I try to be the best at whatever I put my mind to, and I'm ready to devote myself to bettering my poker.

I'm a full-time college student, so both money and time are tight for me. If I'm home, I usually have a tournament open, and during weekends poker is pretty much all I do. I've gotten a few of my friends hooked and they look to me for advice, and I want to be able to give it to them. I would love to be good enough so that I could have not only have fun while playing, but make some money on the side too.

There's no substitute for experience, but there are definitely ways to supplement it and that's why I'd like to join GrinderSchool.

Thank you for your consideration of my application, and I hope to be fortunate enough to receive one of the subscriptions!
