    ---

I'm obviously happy with the outcome but curious about what others might have done. Limped in Q9 suited at a table full of calling stations - that I'm fine with. Thought about folding to the cute little check-raise on the flop but the raise wasn't significant, and I ended up calling less than pot size to stay in with my middle pair and backdoor flush draw. Turn gave me the legit flush draw which I liked... didn't notice the straight or I might have folded there, because I was thinking I still had three queens and two nines as outs. (From all the limping I had guessed I was up against a top pair/decent kicker, or low two pair, or both.) Questionable call of the $10 bet on the turn, but it was less than pot-sized and I felt it was guaranteed the other player in was going to call as well, giving me even better pot odds. When he raised it going all-in I felt at that point there was no getting away from the hand, and I really needed one of my outs to land - specifically the flush outs, if at all possible (which was right on the money, considering what it turned out they had).

Comments? Too fishy calling those raises on the turn? I suspect I maybe should have folded to the $10 one... calling that was what made me call the all-in. If there had been a straight-up $22.50 bet to start the turn I would have folded like a cheap umbrella. Maybe I should have guessed (with the way betting goes on low buy-in Party tables) that it was going to turn into a raise-war very quickly.

Well you did get 2 all-ins out of that and won the pot.

I thought this was well played. 4 cards to a flush draw. You bet first yes got raised but what is another $1 to your initial raise? If someone is going to check raise to try to drive someone out raise it higher than min. bet.

The turn made someones straight / flush. On the Ace was going to beat you on the flush. I would have felt very comfy with myself thinking I had the best hand.

    himself fucker.
I think it's a fold to the 10 bucks, you're getting 3:1ish (i think) and you've pot commited yourself. You made a bad call to set up an ok call when it was re-raised allin.

That sounds right to me too. I didn't calculate it accurately at the time, but it looks like it was a $10 call against a $28 pot (soon to be $33 when the other player called the $5 raise, although he actually raised all-in at that point instead of just calling). Like I said, I like the outcome, but I got the "made a bad call" guilts after the fact.

If I were in the same situation, I may well have folded the turn.

But it worked for you, so I can't knock ya!

Dale, I think your analysis is correct...you should have folded to the bet and raise on the turn.
