Default Am I raising too much pre-flop?

Im adapting to a new style from my old 13/4 nitty way..I play at pokerroom Full Ring $100nl and now run at 16-18 vpip and 10% PFR. Is this raising a bit too much preflop? It is 10 handed. I dont have set hands with postions that I raise, if ive raised lots lately I may chuck AT in EP but ive ive been very quiet I may raise with KJ UTG or AT MP or 75s or J9s from MP- LP etc.

Problem is this new style is so FUN I find it quite irresistable now and would find it hard to slow down and not raise so much pf.

    Pros:
    Fun
    Makes me less predictable
Gets me used to playing bigger pots
Gives me more experience and confidence
Will help me in the near future when I move over to 5max

    Cons:
May be a bit more swingy
Not sure how spewy it is

Not sure how profitable this style is as Ive only played about 5k hands like it. Thoughts please?
    Experimenting - 200NL 5max.

It's all about postflop anyway. I have been known to raise 30% at 6max.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

i only use a higher than average vpip/pfr to create deception so that my play is not predicatble. If your playing with players who will pay a tAGGY style, dont change it imo.
Otherwise, i use it to create deception and to get players to play back at me or overvalue more marginal hands (like tpgk) against me so that i encourage them to play big pots with me when i can beat their range.

I agree to a certain extent, but one shouldn't ignore potential for maximum tilt under many circumstances.

Like said before, your stats are fine. You could probably raise more in position (with any two, really, depending on the blinds). If they all fold, show. If one calls, c-bet, if they fold, show. It can do wonders for getting you more action later (assuming they're paying attention and not just playing their cards).

I'm running something like 22/12 at full ring BTW. There's no such thing as raising too much! (So long as you're smart about it). Also: Try re-raising sometime with rags (Repping AA/KK). Show if they fold. Definately a +EV move.

    I'd drop in the evening..
