All in Preflop?

I know this will be different for everyone, but what hands will you go all in with preflop?

Depends on how my stack looks. At even money, though, I'll go all in with rockets and maybe cowboys, not much else. If I'm short stacked, then I'll tend to throw a couple of Tyson's Group 1 hands in there and more... Tough to say without knowing your table.

I won't usually go all in pre flop. Simply because the thing that kills pockets, is the flop. Show me the flop, and then i will consider it.

After some time seeing the players in action, that will change. I have seen so many people go all in with 77, it is scary. AA or KK or depending on the style of play, maybe AK.

Cash games: KK or AA.

It depends on the situation.

For cash no-limit AA and KK are no-brainers. However, given the situation QQ and AK are very possible. I've even done it with as little as JJ or TT. It depends on the other player(s), their action up to that point and the amount of likely dead money on the table.

For example, with one recent hand I raised AK from the BB behind a bunch of limpers to $3 and got 2 calls followed by the short stack ($15) going all-in. As long as he didn't have AA/KK (and I had no reason to suspsect this, given he completed his SB behind limpers) the money already on the table dicatated an isolation re-raise even if he had a small pocket pair.

39o anyday! I took some of rippy's 1-on-1 hand histories and thought I'd play like him for a day. Amazingly it worked..lol. I had 39o, hit a 3 on the flop so I went all-in. The guy paired Q's but I rivered a 9 to bust him and place 1st.

Ok I'm a moron, I didn't see that it said pre-flop. Duh.
