    Still on that feckin' island!

    Question AKs versus All-In Squeeze

Any reason why this isn't a shove here?

I'm usually the one doing the squeezing, so not sure how the 2 callers affect the picture.

    CO VP 17/PFR 15/3B 13 0ver 110
    BT VP 14/PFR 14/3B 0 0ver 14
    SB VP 59/PFR 14/3B 0 0ver 37

[Also Note to GMML/Mods - Hand Convertor needs to be updated to accomodate Pokerstars HH format changes. Workaround - change "Hand" in line 1 to "Game"]

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($5)
    SB ($0.96)
    BB ($1.54)
    UTG ($6.02)
    Hero (MP) ($5.84)
    CO ($4.87)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, A
1 fold, Hero bets $0.20, CO calls $0.20, Button calls $0.20, SB raises to $0.96 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero ???

Can't really think of a reason not to shove because any hand that calls a $2 4 bet probably calls a shove too. You're certainly not afraid of KK+ here, so want to raise AKs for value pf.

I don't know if you can or should avoid re-shoving here even though the two other players make it somewhat less straightforward since their ranges seem more likely to include an A or K than their ranges if they had folded.

CO is almost certainly setmining and most likely folds to a 4bet shove, BU we don't have enough hands on so I give him 22-JJ AJs+ AQ+, which again he folds the majority of to a 4bet shove, and SB is pretty wide here, it looks to me like he's a fish who's gambling his last dollar rather than topping up, the last few hands at this table are important in regards putting him on a range, he could easily be tilting with A2+ 22+ and broadway combos.

Only problem I have with shoving is that we're risking much more than we win off the sb, the times CO and/or BU call we're not in great shape at all. Folding sucks, calling sucks and shoving sucks. I hate this spot. Best to fold imo.

I'm not gonna delete my post, but I think I shove on second thoughts. We're nearly always gonna have at least 50% equity against anything CO and BU flat call our raise to, are they really flatting KK+? Of course not, my last post is retarded, folding is retarded. Only move here is to get it in.

no reason not to ship it in unless eveyone knew small blind was shoving and might have called to trap but weve got blockers so prolly not even then hell shove it and smile.

We're never ever folding because shoving is good.

I like calling more though. The pot will be huge enough to give us enough equity so that when we miss our topest of pairs, we can still get it in with flush draws. Also btn and co have weak hands, pairs like 66-JJ being the strongest part of their range...which will fold to a cbet on many boards that we miss.

You don't think raising pf is value and indeed more +ev than calling and missing 60% of flops?
