Nice Royal yesterday
Im actually on Royal Vegas Poker, but it's Prima allright. On the Royal; this was my second in the past few weeks (one was on the board, but the other guy folded:P) and third this year. I should probably move to a Royal-bonus table I guess.
As for why I play .05/.10, I'm moving from SnG's to Ring, and need to get adjusted. Also I don't have the BR to move up yet. Actually I only play there while I'm waiting for a cashout from pacific (slooooooow) because you get a $10 free for signing up. I think ten bucks is a liiiiittle short for moving to 25NL .
As for the hand, I decided to check-call if he bets small. Here's how it went down;
** Dealing the turn: 3 of Clubs
HalvSame checked
esl2 checked
** Dealing the river: Queen of Clubs
HalvSame checked
esl2 bet - $1.80
HalvSame called - $1.80
esl2 shows: Jack of Spades, Ace of Diamonds
HalvSame mucks:
esl2 wins $6.75 from the main pot
Don't know if he would've actually folded to a bet on the turn, but I'm going to do the bet/fold to a raise line next time. I'm not sure about the river call, the only thing I beat now is JJ or maybe AQ trying to buy the pot. It did give me a good read on his raising range, though, letting me reraise him out of some pots from position later on.
