Default AJs in EP facing 3bet squeeze.

Villain was 18/6/1.3 over 89 hands. Is this always a fold at 2nl just b/c I dont have QQ+?
MP2 was fairly weak so I wasnt to concerned with him calling the 3bet.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (UTG+1) ($3.63)
    MP1 ($0.63)
    MP2 ($2.99)
    Villain (MP3) ($2.50)
    CO ($3.61)
    Button ($2.75)
    SB ($5.64)
    BB ($1.71)
    UTG ($4.88)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, J
    1 fold, Hero bets $0.08, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.08, Villain raises $0.24, 4 folds, Hero ?

It's a fold based on those stats. There aren't many light 3bettors at $2nl, when you do meet one they tend to stick out like a sore thumb.
Congratulations, you've won your dick's weight in sweets! Decode the message in the above post to find out how to claim your tic-tac

there isn't a single factor about this situation that makes me want to even consider calling (your hand, your position, villain's stats, the fact that you don't close out the action, your stakes........)

    +1

Pretty much summed it up there. With stats like that it's an easy fold. There is nothing he has that you can beat here.

Yeah, I think we can all agree and I see that in hindsight. I was doing really well in the session and started thinking that I could just outplay everyone...know what I mean?
After the hand I saw how bad it was.

We should be able to fold here without even blinking or hesitating.

    It was Aces....
I flopped trip J's and some of the money went in, which turned into quad J's on the turn at which point all the money went in.

He congratulated me (he took it in stride) at which point I thought "WTF did I expect him to have?".....
Great result but I still felt like a douche

Looking at it from his point of view, I suppose he probably figures that isn't the worst hand to be calling with. What really pisses people off when they have aces is when some real trash hand like 92o calls and beats them.

Picking the most obvious example, if someone stacks off their kings against someone else's aces and hits their set, I don't think very many players with the aces would get that pissed about the fact that the guy with the kings called. Ace-jack suited isn't as good as kings but it's far from terrible either.
